+-- LeGasp - Toolshading --+

This was actually done for the challenge at the UG forum. The challenge was to do something you'd never done before or swore you wouldn't do, like dolling a guy, drawing shoes..etc. For me, I'd never tool-shaded in my life! So after some encouragement from (she's the best!) I opened up the gimp and tried it out. This...is the result. It's kind of a love/hate relationship with it. I love the shirt...and the hair is ee...ok I guess but I can't decide wether I like the pants or not. I do...but I don't you know? Anyway so I went for something simple instead of difficult stuff and whatnot but I'm proud of it. Really.

The hair...seems too boring, I don't like it enough now that I look at it again. I feel like I could have done so much more and made it more..."mayuka-ish" you know? I feel like it just doesn't have enough flair for my taste XD Eee I'll focus on that next time I guess...because there WILL be a next time. I want there to be. I want to get awesome at it so I can be comfortable with tool-shading or pixel shading.
